A Hostel Security guard provides a visible, uniformed presence at the point of entry — managing who comes into the building, de-escalating conflict and supporting staff with challenging or aggressive behaviour. This is distinct from our Night Concierge service, which focuses on access control, key holding and CCTV monitoring rather than a physical security presence, and from our Night Support Workers, who focus on resident welfare and casework; many hostels run security cover alongside one or both of these roles.

Hostel Security Oxford: Contract Cover and Agency Cover
