When Agency Cover Is Used
Agency Cover is reactive by design. Clients contact us with a specific shift or short-term gap that needs filling — a staff member off sick, an unexpected vacancy, or a short notice request — and we deploy a fully vetted concierge, support worker, or security professional to cover it. There’s no ongoing commitment required — you request cover as and when you need it.
Our control room is set up to respond quickly to these requests, so sites aren’t left non-compliant or unstaffed while a gap is resolved.
Vetting and Compliance
Every member of staff supplied through Agency Cover undergoes the same vetting as our Contract Cover staff — Enhanced DBS checks, right-to-work verification, and role-specific training — so there’s no drop in quality or compliance for short-notice bookings.
Temp-to-Perm
A small number of our clients have also used Agency Cover as a way to trial staff before offering them a permanent role directly. While it isn’t the primary purpose of this service, it’s available where it’s a good fit for both the client and the individual.
